    Was looking for a new pair of scissors. It came across these on Amazon. The price seemed great and I figured well soon. As I said, there’s always going to need them so I’m not going to spend a lot of money.Fast forward, I got these a few days ago and they are absolutely great. They’re not cheap or flimsy.     I don’t know why we waited so long to buy fresh, sharp scissors. We had pairs of old rusty ones that seemed “good enough.” I suppose trying to be thrifty in a time of high inflation made buying new scissors seem to my immigrant-mindset like the gateway to a mentality of extravagance.     Item looks great, but smelled funny

    I haven’t taken them out to try them cause I’m not sure if I wanna keep them or not. But I’m sure they work just fine. I’m giving them 4 stars though because they arrived in a box that smelled like straight bleach. I don’t know if they might have put my product on a table that was freshly wiped down with bleach or not, but my product shouldn’t smell like bleach. Nor should I have to wash my hands several times because my product is covered in a chemical thats dangerous for peoples skin. Other than the bleach thing though I’m sure the scissors work just fine.

    Sharp scissors for every day use

    These are a good quality set of scissors. I had bought some in the past but had to replace the old ones. They were used for other purposes than a scissors and ruined the cutting edge. A family member used this to cut heavy wire and ended up scoring the cutting edge (for that, he should have used the wire cutter but grabbed whatever was closest at the time). Works well with paper, cloth, thread, cardboard box, styrofoam, plastic, and so on. These are easy to clean and do not rust after running through the dishwasher. They are lightweight.

    Great Scissors, Buying More

    These are fantastic scissors and are great for cutting through cardboard, paper, wire, thread, wrapping paper and anything else we’ve challenged these scissors with. Why are we buying more you say? Because the one thing these scissors can’t do, is self locate. We have three kids and 6 pairs of scissors. I keep giving them the old crappy ones that don’t cut very well but they don’t like those so every time I reach over in my office or the kitchen for the good scissors they aren’t there and when I grill, excuse me, question the kids gently, they each angelically reply, “It wasn’t me mom.” So they get the old ones and I’ll try and hide these better until I forget and they make off with these again and I will be back here ordering more. If anybody sees the missing socks and scissors that have gone permanently missing from our house, please let me know. I might be able to fund one of their college educations or at least summer camp.

    Do your scissors get up and walk away??? Get these.

    I like these and buy them often…more often than I should have to, but that’s not a fault of the scissors…it’s just my inconsiderate family.Do you sew? Do your scissors get up, walk away and cut paper/wire/anything else your fam feels the need to cut, thus dulling the blades for sewing purposes, all by themselves? No, your husband didn’t do it, he thinks it was probably your daughter. She didn’t do it, did you ask her brother? Her brother is like, “what scissors?” Uuuuuggggghhhhhh!I used to buy expensive sewing scissors only to find them laying by empty packaging or something similar within a week or two. After that they wouldn’t even trim threads. Now, I buy these 24 at a time. I get the sets with 3 different colors and declare one color off limits….and honest to goodness, it’s still insane how often my family ruins my sewing scissors!!!! It’s a lot easier to deal with when they’re so affordable, though!P.S. Looked into keeping the scissors and returning the family and was told that was not a possibility.
