Pigment of colors are not the best even for beginners
The best I can say about the product is the container that holds everything together.The pigment on paint is mediocre at bestThe pigment on the pastel lacked intensity in colourThe graphite and charcoal required repeated strokesEven for beginners this particular line left us disappointed. Great ‘starters’ kit for a budding artist.
This set includes a really nicely built wooden case that you will find lasts longer than the supplied art supplies. Other brands will fit into the case with only a little effort, and if you prefer the tray inserts can be removed completely with little effort.About the only thing this set doesn’t include is an easel. The included media is useable and of good quality.As for the paints, pencils, and such, they are useable, and will be perfect to get an artist started, but if the artist gains any traction at all in their art, they will soon want to upgrade to better stuff. Thats not a negative, the set is a great set that includes most forms of physical painting and drawing. Every artist goes through lots of different supplies and suppliers before they find what works best for them after all.

Complete art set for students and beginners
This is a very complete art set for students and beginners. A little something to try a variety of mediums. Colored pencils, crayons, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, oil pastels and drawing. Includes some canvas boards, drawing pad. acrylic pad, watercolor pad, plus pencils and eraser. Certainly enough to keep a beginner occupied for awhile.The biggest difference between these materials and professional grade is the quality of the materials. Lesser quality paints have less pigment, therefore, it takes more to cover the canvas or paper. Also, they won’t be light-fast so will be subject to fading over time. Same with the pencils which have lots of wax in them. The crayons are not nearly as good as a box of Crayolas.There is no easel in this package despite it showing someone using an easel. Also, a big issue with me is that the box has no handle. The cardboard box that the kit comes in has a handle, but not the actual display kit. This makes the whole thing difficult to transport. However, if you are just going to set it up somewhere and use it, not a problem.Overall, a good starter kit for someone who wants to explore a variety of art mediums.

Good set for beginners
This is a very comprehensive art set with many different mediums contained in a wooden box. The quality of the materials is not the highest so it is good for beginners, students, and those looking to try different mediums. The box is great for storage, organization, and transporting. However, I do have some issues with the box drawers sticking and not opening and closing smoothly.

Our daughter loves it!
We gave this to Our four-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves it. She is a little artist and she loves drawing. This has every color you could possibly think of and then some the quality is not professional grade, but it is definitely more than you need around the house for those personal projects or hobbies. Everything came as shown. This would be a perfect starter set for any artist. This is a perfect gift to anyone who is artistic.

Lovely kit, iffy box
This is a great showpiece for a kid. Good quality art materials in what appears to be a beautiful box. Unfortunately the box is a bit flimsier than I hoped. The drawers aren’t very smooth and the wood chipped on first use. Overall it’s still a nice kit that keeps things contained and organized. I just wanted it to be better.

Perfect for a beginning artist
Has a lot of stuff in here, which is actually quite impressive. I love the wooden box everything comes in, it makes me feel fancy. As a professional artist, I would say that the quality isn’t the best, for really anything in there. However, if this kit was for a beginning artist who is starting to learn to do art, I would say that it would be pretty good for starting out, because it gives you enough stuff to experiment with and if they like it enough then they can get more of the high quality stuff.

Nice overall art set for an aspiring artist.
Everytime I see an all in one art/paint/craft set (crafting being a stretch) with crayons I think its a filler product to up the piece count so a buyer things how much they get for a given costs. I tend to discount the idea of crayons in a set and try to look at the other aspects and in this case I will say fillers aside this is a nicely constructed set for the price point. Paints are decent, brushes are of mid range quality, oil pastels about the same. I’d say most, if not all of the set, is of mid-range quality and really well put together for a young aspiring artist. Color pencils did seem like they were easily breakable as many time the tips would just slide out (broken deeper down in the pencil) but its hard to say if it was pressure from the user or just poorly selected mediums.Overall its a decent set and makes a great gift.

I can get lost in paint with these.
I can go all day and just get lest with this artists kit. Its everything I need to paint and color and just get lost in my painting world. Its got so many great colors paints, crayons, pencils, watercolors, oil pastels and even brushes and drawing pencils!! If you have an artist in the family or a child taking an art class this is a kit that is so great to have and give. Perfect for giving for the holidays.

Wow, what a solid, complete set!
I got this through the Vine program in exchange for a review, so unfortunately I can’t gift it (that’s part of the deal) because it would make a really great gift. But even so, it’s an impressively solid set, in a nice, solid box with plastic trays.I only have one minor complaint, which is that the supplies included are not particularly high quality. However, given the price, that’s entirely understandable, and it’s a great bargain never the less. Especially as a gift to any family with kids, who won’t really care about the quality of the pencils or paint.

An attractive and satisfying exploration set
This is a very well thought out set that would make a nice gift for young or older artists who are looking to establish a foundation with a variety of art media. The materials are fairly basic student level with an emphasis on durability and consistent performance. They aren’t going to compete with more exquisite high-end media, but they can certainly make very nice art and allow a lot of exploration and technique development.The more time I spend with this kit, the more I appreciate the choices that the seller has made in putting it together. There are three different types of paper, as well a few small canvases and the papers are really nicely matched to the media. I wasn’t totally keen on the oil pastels texture at first, but when used on the sketchbook style paper they have a really nice payoff and blend well.There are a lot of fun things to play with in this kit all spanning a full range of color. Less experienced artist who may be hard on their media are not going to cause any damage to their pencils or watercolors, and those with more developed skills and techniques will not be hindered by the quality of the materials. Nobody is going to be running out of paint anytime soon or having trouble finding just the right color. The skills development potential with this kit is really good, everything from learning about different hardness grades in sketching pencils, having a variety of good materials for color blending practice, learning about different brush styles, learning how to handle paint tubes, learning about different papers and how they interact with your media, etc.The box not only looks like it will last until the artist finally uses up all of their supplies, but it should continue to be enjoyed for the long-term as the artist develops. The plastic organization trays are glued in place just right for security today, but the hot glue that was used can be peeled off neatly when it’s time to eventually transition this box into a place to store new tools.The media in this kit are less suitable for artists who are already developed strong preferences in the nuances of different brands and styles – but for somebody who wants to dig in and explore and try lots of different things, these are great. There’s no wasted space in this box, and the media and papers are really well suited to working together in a way that produces nice results. This would make a very nice gift to encourage art discovery and to build art skills and confidence. It’s also a very fun kit for more experienced artists who want a neatly organized and pretty dabbling set.

Exceptional Set & Quality
This is an exceptional art set. It is pretty heavy and has no handle so it’s definitely not good for traveling especially since the drawers tend to open easily. This however is an incredible set perfect for stationary use. The wood box is very sturdy. I really like how many extras they put into this. The extra canvas’s definitely come in handy . The paints and pens work great. The color choices for each section is quite thorough. This is a high-end art set perfect for beginners and pros.

Not the high quality expected
Dislike: two of the drawer knobs came off the first time we used it, the other two have lots of glue showing around the knobs. The cabinet itself is made of cheap wood, and has a weird formaldehyde type smell. The acrylic paint tubes sit in indentations that are not deep enough for the tubes so they get caught in opening and closing of the drawer. Prob not worth the money spent.Likes: good variety.

Great way to explore your artistic options
This starter kit is a great way for novice artists to explore a wide variety of artistic options for a very reasonable price. All of the various mediums included a generous array of colors. This kit also includes a variety of brushes, papers and even some small canvases. The only thing that didn’t measure up was the so called color wheel. It was just a small rectangle of colors in the kit I got, not a wheel indicating primary and secondary colors. But that’s a small quibble given the low price.

This Art Kit may be the most complete I have evr seen. It contains, colored pencils, acrylics, oils, water colors, brushes and crayons. The only thing I can think of it is missing is charcoal…It also includes 3 different drawing pads for three different mediums as well as canvas.All the drawing tools are in a very nice case that has a snap front to keep it closed and everything has it’s own place. However some of the crayons do come loose when the box it tipped up. There is no carrying handle for the case.This would make a perfect gift for a young upcoming artist.

This is a really nice art set for the price! First off, everything feels nicely made and they really pack a lot into this kit. The quality of the brushes is nice and they don’t fall apart or seem to get worn quickly. The paint colors they include are a great assortment for a starter pack and to my surprise they are of a decent size, too. They also provide a lot of different types of paper. Basically everything in this kit is of a nice quality and you really get a lot for the money. Everything all comes nicely organized in a wooden case which makes it easy to store when not in use. There is a little weight to the kit, but that is to be expected. All things considered, I really love the overall quality and the pure volume of art supplies they provide!

Great Set w/ A Lot of Variety
We got this for our daughter, and she loves it. She is constantly having to share with her little sister, so this one is just for her. She likes how easy it is to keep everything organized. Deluxe means deluxe
When you take a look at this kit, you will notice right away that it includes EVERYTHING you need for a project. It has the paper, and all kinds of mediums for your next art project. The only complaint that I have is the case. I wish it had locking mechanisms for each drawer. I suppose I could attach something to the case which is made of wood and fix that. its minor but if you tilted it in the wrong angle, everything will spill out.

Awesome Art Kit
If you’re looking to spark imagination and dabble into different mediums this is definitely a great kit for you! It has everything you need to get started with acrylics, colored pencils, water colors, graphite pencils etc. Just opening the box makes me feel like an artist. All of the mediums are well organized in a nice box. The drawers on mine stick a little bit, but not enough to hinder me getting into it and I’d rather have them stick than fly open while I’m carrying it. I love that it comes with both canvas and paper so you really can just open this kit and start doing. Obviously if you’re a master artist you’re going to want to get top grade supplies, but for the beginner or to let a beginner know that you believe in their ability to create art, this is really nice. So much of art creating is messy, I just can’t tell you how much I love the box so that everything is right there in front of you and there’s a place for everything. It can be refilled with new supplies as you run out, and it’s easy to take with you, albeit a bit heavy–you wouldn’t take this on a plane trip or anything, but to go out of town or even to a cabin somewhere it would be great. Fabulous art set for the budding artist
This art set quite literally has it all! Paints (both watercolor and acrylic), crayons, colored pencils, oil pastels, canvases, assorted types of paper, accessories, and a fantastically durable box to contain everything! This set is ideal for a young artist who is excited about trying a lot of new media, because they’ll have access to all the tools and supplies they will need to experiment and play.We picked this up for our six year old budding artist. She has such a creative perspective on things and we’re so excited to see what she does with so many artistic opportunities at her fingerstips. We love the overall design of the box everything is stored in – it feels really durable and when these supplies run out, it can absolutely be used to store future tools and materials.Of course the actual paints and pastels are not professional quality, but that’s not the point of a kit like this. An experienced painter is not going to pick something like this up to hone their craft. This is made to give access to a variety of mediums at a student-level quality. Once someone has the chance to try it all and pick a few favorites, you can buy the higher quality supplies and fill the box with those!This is a fantastically giftable and expansive art kit that I’d recommend to anyone.

It’s HUGE and has everything!
We love this art set! It has everything we need and haven’t discovered anything it is missing – except talent!At this price it is a great set to test your talent and figure out your artistic path. So much in it and so affordable you can afford to experiment and goof around a bit without worrying too much about wasting your supplies. Great for beginners.Plus is arrives in an impressive box. If you were to gift it, it would be well received.

I love this art set
This art set is an excellent starter kit. It saves you time from having to shop for the items separately, and you basically get everything you need in this pretty box. I got this for my son who loves all things art, which is why this was a must-have for him. You get everything as advertised which I love. The materials themselves are of good quality, but like I said for someone who is starting out or experimenting. There’s plenty of canvas and sketch pads to let the imagination run wild. This set as all the colors you will need between the paint, crayons l, pencils, and pastels. Whether for you or as a gift, this is an excellent buy!

Get Your Creative Juices Flowing
The holidays will be upon us soon. This is actually a nice set. Can you create amazing art with this set? The answer is yes. Is this a set for a professional artist no. I am an artist and recently I’ve been doing mixed media style. I typically use supplies on the first layer that are not high quality. I will be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this set, but I was pleasantly surprised. I did not use the watercolors, but on my test piece I used the crayons, oil pastels, acrylics and the colored pencils. The Red Brown box set is currently on sale and has a $10 discount too. So for under $30 this will make someone very happy. It really is a complete set and the paper pads that come with it are heavy weight and full pads. This is best suited to the beginner artist or child. Pigments are on the lower end. The colored pencils were my least favorite as they offer very little pigment. The acrylic paint was my favorite and provided decent coverage and bright colors that pop. The box is made from MDF ( medium density Fiber board). If you catch it on sale, the box alone and paper pads are worth the purchase. As your skills improve and your budget allows, you can swap out the included supplies for higher grade art supplies.While this is a starter set, you can still get your creative juices flowing with it. Consider purchasing with a set of paint markers to take your artwork to the next level.Please note– In the image of the final piece, I also used EscriWise Acrylic paint markers( set of 40) to add details. Otherwise the flower design was created only with what came in the iBayam art kit.

Everything for the beginning artist
This box had so much to offer for a great price. The box itself was very sturdy and contained great storage for all different tools for any artist.

AWESOME VALUE! Nice Box! ALL Art Levels!
You really can’t beat the value of this art set! This would make a really nice gift for a blooming child artist! Really great as a holiday or birthday gift! Aside from the Crayons & the wayercolors, on the bottom drawer of the chest, the set is comprised of nice quality items, even for actual artists like myself!!! The set comes with three artists pads and a couple board canvases which alone make the price incredible of this set. I actually just took out the Crayons from the bottom drawer and put some of my other sketch pencils and such in that drawer. The set is amazing to have around. So really I recommend this set for anyone of all artists levels. The only fault is that the drawers have to all pull out together for some reason and that the chest is made of compressed bored so may scratch over time. Looks really nice though! Definitely a lot of value in this set. I especially love the paint, sketch pencils, and oil! A LOT OF VALUE! 100% recommend.

I’m in awe of this Deluxe Art Set!
I’m in awe of this Deluxe Art Set! By the description I expected something very nice and complete. But my expectations were exceeded. It comes with an incredible array of acrylic paints, crayons, oil, and pencils in a fabulous array of colors. As much as the heart could desire. All is kept organized in a solidly built case, with drawers that keep all the parts well housed and accessible. If that wasn’t enough, it also comes with an acrylic pad of heavy weight, high quality papers, a watercolor pad of papers, and a sketch book. With this kit, I witnessed a 9 year old girl and her 75 year old grandfather, together, having a great time putting these artistic tools to work. I regret not getting a picture of this duo at work. This kit has been a great delight for our family.

Huge box of art supplies
This set Is huge! It weighs just over 10 lbs and comes with so much for a good price. This is great for a beginner or maybe even an intermediate-level artist, as there are so many different mediums to use and experiment with. This set seems well thought out, with supplies that mix and match. I’m at a beginner level, and I’m enjoying playing with the various media. This box has everything you need to start creating art right away. The box makes it easy to stay organized and have your supplies right at hand when you want them. While these may not be the quality of some name-brand supplies, I feel like they are great for what they are designed to do – get you to start creating and having fun while possibly using mediums you aren’t as comfortable or familiar with. Godd art set
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter who loves to draw and paint. This was the perfect gift for her as someone who’s just learning and trying to find what she likes. Only issue was the pull knob on one of the drawers popped off almost instantly so it’ll have to be glued back on. Overall, it’s great and she was so excited to get it.
