What’s not to like? Holds all my hooks, and other supplies. Holds my yarn needed (up to 3 of the 7oz skeins I use. Probably the only thing I don’t like is that if I am making a afghan, as it gets close to completion, it isn’t gonna fit in the backpack, but that is a very minor problem to me. I love having all the tools of my craft stored in one spot.

Best gift for my mother
My mother is a hard working, busy lady who is always on the go and when she’s not, she’ll take whatever break she can to crochet. I bought this for her for mother’s day and it was the best investment.She tossed her reusable grocery bag to the side and immediately loaded the bag up.She now won’t leave the house without it. Like at all. Even if she doesn’t use it, it’s there.She once forgot it, had me bring it to her at work and when asked “what did you make on your break?””Oh I didn’t get around to it but I couldn’t find a paper clip so I used a marker”MULTI PURPOSE. She is so happy. I only slightly regret my decision because I just fueled an obsession but that smile when she is holding her bag…Like a 63 yo on her first day of school with a my little pony backpack.Get this for your mama. A great knitting bag but only an okay backpack
If you’re looking for a daily commuter bag that you can also keep a knitting or crochet project in, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for a knitting bag that can occasionally do double-duty when traveling, this is an excellent choice.I’ve had the bag about a week, using it mostly at home as a knitting bag and now once as a commuter bag to hold a 14″ laptop in addition to my current project. If anything changes over time I will update the review.There’s a lot to like about this bag: there are plenty of pockets and pouches, the main compartment opens wide and mostly sits up straight as long as there’s a little stuff in the bottom, and the zippers work well and seem sturdy. The needle organizer pocket is fantastic; on one side you have tons of slots for crochet hooks or straight needles, and on both sides you have lots of little sleeves, perfect for coiled-up circular needles. I knit almost exclusively with circulars and almost never crochet, so the little slots are sadly wasted on me.I love the little “yarn holes” in the side of the bag that let you work on your project with the bag completely closed. However, unless your project fits neatly into the little side pocket underneath the holes, you’ll want to store the work in the main compartment of the bag, which means you have to leave a little space for the yarn in the zipper when closing it.The shoulder straps are not particularly beefy and could get uncomfortable if you have a heavy laptop. Other bags at this price point that also advertise themselves as knitting/crochet bags have a dedicated laptop compartment, but this one does not. Also the bottom of the bag is not padded at all, so you’ll want to keep any sensitive electronics in their own sleeves.

Spacious
I love this product. I needed something to store my crochet projects and supplies in and this is a perfect fit. I currently have 3 different yarns and my full set of supplies stored in this bag and still have plenty of room to fit more. I haven’t travelled with it yet but I think this will hold up well on the road.

Love it so far
I really like this bag! Besides it being super cute, it’s got a pretty big main compartment that fits a good sized project or three (just recently had a half a beanie, a finished hoodie/cowl and a quarter of a blanket!I like how the top of the bag hinges open. I’m able to hinge it open and keep it like that to let yarn be pulled out while the ball stays in the bag.In one of the flat zip pockets I was able to fit a crochet book – however the book is shorter than a magazine and a little wider than a magazine. Both the flat pockets are too small for magazine sized books, which kinda sucks because a lot of the knitting/crochet ones are that size.The very front pocket holds my crochet needles holder – it’s a fold up set and fits perfectly. It also has little pockets that I’ve put scissors, needles and stitch markers in.I’ll be taking it with me when I travel this fall – it should fit just fine under an airplane seat (it’s smaller than my backpack that I usually bring!).

So many pockets
I really like this bag. It has so many pockets. The quality may not be that great though. The zippers were made with zipper tap, so I’m not sure how long they will last without wearing out. I have a sewing machine and I like to fix things. To be honest, this is a pretty cheap backpack. I really like that the pockets in the big compartment can hold huge yarn skeins. It keeps my yarn from getting tangled. There are smaller pockets on the inside for stitch markers and small projects. The top of the backpack stays open as you work. That is a nice feature. Like other reviewers, I don’t really understand the holes in the size. Are we supposed to be putting our projects in the large size pockets? I’m not doing that, but that is a nice thought I guess. Overall, I’m very happy with this backpack.

I have enjoyed this more than I expected!
I have a large knitting bag that stores all my needles, cables, notions, etc. I’ve been using this bag to store only what I need for the current project. It’s been enjoyed. There are pockets and pouches galore so the center portion stays free for the project while the notions are tucked away. I do not need the backpack portion and would prefer the straps were not there. Because of the backpack design, the bag will sometimes collapse toward the front when sitting on the floor. I think a more symmetrical design might prevent that. Still, this has proven to be a great project bag for me.

I can fit 6 of the Red Heart Super Saver 7oz rolls of yarn in the bag. It’s perfect for a grab & go bag. It has a frame in the main storage area at the opening which gives it structure when open. There are comfortable padded backpack straps as well as 2 strap handles to carry. It you are a crocheted or knitter this bag is perfect. Good craft bag!
My wife really enjoys this bag for her crochet projects. It is great to travel will and had a lot of pockets to hold items. It is a medium to smaller size of a bag so projects do need to be thought of before packing. The zipper is a little tight and rough in the bigger to open the top part but once the bag is adjusted the zipper is easier to use. We recommend this bag if you like to travel and craft on the go!

Nice for travel
This is a sturdy backpack that has handy pockets for travel. The back strap fits over the handle of a roller bag and hides the pocket just right for a passport. The shoulder straps are sturdy. The needle case in front holds crochet hooks, and knitting needles fit inside—along with a change of clothes and toiletries. A dude pocket can hold a water bottle. The pack fits under the seat in an airplane or stands on the floor in an auto. This plus a roller bag serve as my carry-on luggage only even for long trips.

I wish I would’ve found this years ago! It perfectly holds at least 6 skeins of yarn and I can’t tell you just how many pockets there are!! Currently in my bag I have 6 full skeins of yarn and 2 partial skeins, variety of crochet hooks, materials needed for amigurumi, needles, markers, 2 patterns, granny squares, etc. I wasn’t going to spend quite this much but then I thought “why buy another bag?” and I’m so glad I bought this! Also, the fabric it’s made with will hold up for years to come. It also has 6 openings for whatever yarn you might be working with. There is a long and wide zippered pocket on the back side where I keep my patterns and my granny squares. I honestly don’t write reviews but this is the just the best for us crafters!!

Overall a Very Good Buy
Before I traveled for Thanksgiving in 2022, I decided to make a crocheted christening dress for a friend’s daughter, and because the craft bags I had were showing their age, I decided to shop for a new one. After looking at countless options, I opted for this one. Here is what I found:The metal frame of the bag does make it a bit rigid, so heavy objets won’t squish it too much.It can hold a very nice amount of work, supplies, etc. In fact, I think it holds more than its rigid appearance might lead you to assume. Like the other bag I own, its outside looks are a bit deceiving, and you can fit quite a large item and its working yarn in here.There are scads of useful pockets. I love to tote all my supplies and goodies along with me, and the pockets ensure that I don’t lose anything.The zippers are durable. After more than a year, I am not noticing any wear and tear on the bag or the zippers, which tend to be the first things to fail.The pockets inside that hold yarn are most useful for the standard-type skeins, less so for bulky, fat spools.The metal frame that keeps the bag from smashing down flat can be a slight hindrance because it can be harder to get larger items out or back in.The zippers catch yarn a bit more than they do on my other bag. I’ve never had an issue I couldn’t untangle, but it is a slight anoyance.I do not find myself using the USB charging ability much if at all. Not a gripe, just an observation.Overall, I really do like this bag.

Everyday bag
I am now currently using this bag instead of a purse. I keep my wallet, mints, pens etc. in this bag. Of course you will find my current projects in there (and I even have a few projects started at the same time) along with all my tools. I love that I can take it from the Livingroom up to my craft room then to my bedroom and everywhere else and have everything I need to work on a project. Its convenience has given me more time to work on my projects. I really like this bag. It is very roomy, I had 4 large size cakes of yarn in there along with a hook case, container of stitch markers, water bottle, 3 pairs of scissors, plus my tablet and so much more in there and it wasn’t even close to being full but it doesn’t look or feel like it was that full either.

Wonderful craft backpack
I purchased this craft backpack to travel by air to visit my ailing MIL and for my SIL’s birthday in Nebraska. It fit great under the airline seat. I gave only four stars because I have some Tunisian crochet hooks which are too long to fit inside the bag, otherwise I would have given it five! Fit everything I needed for the trip. (My current project is not a Tunisian project.) I also got several compliments on the backpack.

Highly Pleased, a Perfectly Suitable Product
I have attached several photos that may hopefully speak more about the product than I have to say. I do love this bag, it is as advertised and that is quite suitable. I ordered the gray color. I plan to use this for crochet projects as well as carrying an e-reader, a couple of journals, some charging cables, and my phone and wallet during flights. I believe this is suitable for the purpose.Some of the attached photos show the size of drink canteens that may fit in the side pockets. In a few photos, I have added seven full skeins of yarn in the main compartment (one for each inner pocket, then another in the middle vacancy, which could have fit two skeins) and had both drink canteens in either side pocket.The photos with the green case feature a carry-on size luggage bag. In these photos, the yarn bag holds the seven yarns aforementioned, as well as both drink canteens.Aside from the main compartment, all compartments are flat. In the front middle compartment that contains the various pockets and elastic slots, please note that all of the pockets are full-height (as demonstrated by the inserted measuring tapes in one of the photos).I realize that I forgot to photograph the main compartment with the seven skeins. Rest assured that the skeins fit well and there were roughly four to five inches of space remaining at the cap of the bag for which to place your work. The elastic pockets within the main compartment squeeze the skeins — they will not be moving around, so a center-pull is advised when working out of the bag. Please remember to remove the sleeve from the skeins before placing them into an elastic pocket, as removing them without damaging the sleeves is a difficult process.Overall, I am very pleased with this bag. The zippers, material, and stitching are of great quality. I feel this bag will last several years. I will note that neither the handles nor the shoulder straps have a dedicated tuck-in location, so both sets will be “out” at all times. You have the option to tuck the handles into the main compartment, however, this does not allow you to zip the compartment closed.Also, I thought that the little strap with the clasp on one of the handles was to enable the user to clip both handles together. This is not the case, so I imagine it is instead meant for identification tags used for traveling. The clasp was very difficult to pry apart, which is good for the purpose of holding a travel tag.

My forever crochet/backpack – SO MANY POCKETS!!
This pink crochet bag is amazing (it also comes in blue and gray). It is heavy duty and great quality zipper tabs and handles. The bag itself is SO deep. It has six holes to feed yarn through. Now can we talk about pockets!? I has a zipper pocket on the back – a very deep zipper pocket. It is a good place for a pocket because it will help prevent theft. It has two wide side pockets. The front has another wide wallet type pocket that could hold like 8 credit cards and four crochet hooks plus some other mini pockets. I actually have two thick things in the part and it zips no problem. Above that wallet type pocket is another zipper pocket that is VERY deep. Inside it has a zip area where you can plug in a charging bank and then you can charge your phone via the charging outlet on the outside. It has three clear pockets on the inside and six additional pockets around the bottom that are 8 inches tall and almost six inches wide. There are also eight additional places to put your crochet hooks on the inside. My hooks have the thick rubber handles and fit in the holders no problem. With all those inside pockets there is still a ton of space to put yarn, wallet, umbrella, etc. This will be my new crochet bag and pocketbook combined.

Great storage
This is great for traveling with yarn! You could use it for anything really, but the pockets for knitting needles or crochet hooks are phenomenal!

I have spent money on SEVERAL different crochet/knitting bags, and this is the BEST by far! It has TONS of pockets! Countless of places for both your crochet AND knitting needles! Knitting needles are long and need that extra room, and this does it all! The inside of the bag holds SEVERAL skeins of yarn PLUS the project you are working on. I have 5 different yarn skeins in my own bag on top of my blanket I’m working on with mandala Ombré yarn! The USB port is even amazing! Charges anything that is USB compatible and the bag itself holds a charge for 12+hours with only taking 2hrs to charge the bag itself. Cleaning is also a breeze in both machine AND wipe downs and keeps the vibrant color without fading. It even has two cup holders on each side of the bag that can hold 32oz tumblers WITHOUT spilling and in the backpack part, even has a compartment for a tablet/iPad with cooling system. It has 3 holes on each side of the bag for feeding the yarn through without getting the yarn tangled up. This backpack does it all. Even if you are a college student and looking for a backpack, this can also fit a 15.5 Laptop IN THE BAG itself plus a binder and 4 spiral notebooks! This is hands down the best ever! I couldn’t be more satisfied with a backpack than I am with this! You will NOT be disappointed!

The bag I never new I needed!!
Listen…run, don’t walk, to get you one of these! If you are a yarning type of person you need one! I didn’t even know such things existed till I saw someone with one on tiktok. This thing is a game changer for me. I would have all my projects and needles spread through the house, being left where I was last working on them. In the way, losing hooks and needles, couldn’t find a darning needle when I needed one(finding out that I actually have 10 of them!!) But now with this bag, I keep allllll of my hooks, needles, EVERYTHING one could possibly need for a project, in this bag. The only thing not in here is my entire yarn stash 🤣. I tote it all over the house like a flipping comfort blanket 🤣. when I am done i tuck it all away in my bag and it’s there when I need it. I will also be hauling this thing with me like EVERYWHERE I go. It’s light and just perfect! Get one! You will not be disappointed!
