    Do not store in car in unmarked bags. Police will arrest you until reports come back. Works good to preserve eggs. Preserves vegetables reasonably well, but it WILL NOT DO ITS MAIN JOB. It will not pickle a LIME. The lime falls apart and the rind softens and becomes unmanageable. If you are buying this to pickle limes as it states on package, “pickling lime”, or think it contains pickled limes it does not. You will have to find another way to preserve fruit for your margaritas…

    BUT… someone in their packing department needs to know that they need to seal the bag ‘above’ the zip closure strip and not below it. Had to use a knife to cut the bag open. Not a major deal but it would be nice to be able to re-seal the bag the way it was intended.
