Paper cutter

Good, inexpensive, but only metric measurements on blade guide
It has imperial and metric and across the base part, but the blade guide only has metric, and that makes it a bit tricky for those who use imperial only. If I could purchase replacement guides (I bought three) that had both metric and imperial, like on the base, I would. Unfortunately, right now, all three are in storage because of this.

Perfect light crafting tool
Likes:1.) This thing fits perfectly in my drawer2.) This paper cutter is so convenient for small projects.3.) I have never cut myself with this, I’m always afraid with the other swing arm cutters I’ll take out a finger. This is super safe.Dislikes:1.) The frame doesn’t always hold paper tight in place and occasionally if I’m not super careful with putting pressure down, it slips I get a crooked cut.2.) I’ve had it for a little over a year now and the blade is dulling, there are replacements available but I broke it trying to replace the blade.

Don’t Know How I Lived Without One!
I needed a paper cutter for some misc printed items for a convention. I didn’t want to charge the con for it so I bought something for me to keep. Not only was the price amazing but it worked like a charm. There are all sorts of measuring grids on it but also a raised section towards the bottom if you just want to make sure your paper was straight. I only ran 2 pieces of paper through at one time or one thick card stock page but it cut beautifully. And I’ve had to do a lot of last minute printing jobs and I am beyond happy at how well this works for me.I wouldn’t recommend doing several pages at once. You can’t- there’s only so much of an opening under the protective bar. But for small home jobs of cutting, this was quite an investment. And it’s lightweight and easy to store. And it cuts straight lines which is something I am truly awful at!I highly recommend this.

Gets the job done for a great price!
I’m a teacher, and am constantly spending hours cutting out materials. I also laminate many materials, so needed something that could handle laminated plastic sheets as well. I am not a fan of the swinging blade / guillotine style paper cutters, so I went on a hunt for something that would be safe and efficient for cutting out hundreds of pages. This fit the bill perfectly!I have had no issues cutting out multiple pages of copy paper at a time, as well as multiple pages of lamination. The line is straight and clean, and the blade is safe and sharp. I LOVE that you can see exactly where the blade will cut the page – there’s no guessing where the paper will cut, as the blade isn’t offset or hidden behind a guard. My depth perception isn’t great, and I don’t want to spend forever trying to line things up when I’m in the groove of preparing materials, so this is especially helpful.Long story short – highly recommend! I can’t speak to the longevity of the blade, other than to say that it has lasted through many pages thus far. While other reviews indicate that the blade may need replacing sooner rather than later, that is completely worth it to me for the rest of these features!

Never want to be without this!
I’m a watercolor artist and I’m often needing to cut larger sheets of expensive watercolor paper into smaller sizes. This does the trick perfectly and inexpensively! I’ve had mine for several years, I use it all the time, and it continues to work well and is very well-built and sturdy. Why spend a lot of money when this nicely prices, lightweight unit does a great job!

These are so lightweight as to make them less accurate.
This paper cutter has everything you would want unless you want the cut to be accurate. The blade got dull way too fast too so now it tends to shred the paper when I use it. It is small so it fits well on my desk and it has a arm that pulls out to measure just over 13 inches.I would say it was great it if wasn’t so flimsy that most of my cuts aren’t accurate. This is the first cutter I have bought that when you push down to bring the safety blade out, it causes the cut to be off. As I said, it isn’t sharp anymore either.I need to try cutting tin foil with it to see if it will sharpen the blade again. If it works, I’ll edit this review. That still won’t cure the paper not being accurate and I always have it on a hard surface which should be all it needs.I didn’t check other reviews and I still haven’t so I don’t know if others have been having the same problems with this cutter that I have. I know better so I have only myself to blame for that oversight. I know I won’t be buying another and I won’t recommend this cutter to friends.

A Great Buy!
This paper cutter is awesome. It’s lightweight, compact, and can fit in my computer bag for travel as it’s 15″ long which is smaller than my laptop. It cuts like a hot knife through butter, even with my 24# paper that’s been laminated. It has 45-degree to 90-degree markings to be able to cut those angles accurately. The blade is easily removed for replacing it and I like the safety feature of the blade so I don’t cut myself, *lol. I thought ahead and also bought a 5-pack of replacement blades.This is so much better than the big, heavy paper cutter I already have.

This works!!
This is small and light and blade cuts clean. I papercraft and doubt this will become the primary as the grid lines and measurements aren’t much. But for getting a fast clean cut, this is way better than a knife and mat and straight edge. Love it in pink. Fun!!

Exactly what I needed
I bought this to measure and cut vacuum sealer bag rolls so I didn’t have to do it with my vacuum sealer machine itself. Works perfectly and the extending ruler helps a lot with measuring and consistently getting the size needed.

Love it!
My kids love doing arts and crafts so this has definitely made our projects more easier. My 7 year old can use it under my supervision of course even though it doesn’t seem like it has easy access to the blade. Cuts through easily and if you don’t have to cut large papers I definitely recommend this instead of the giant paper cutter that is scary lol.

Very well designed and made. Only one error, they did not make the swing arm to measure paper legal length. It comes up short 1/2 inch so you have to use a ruler.

Great Value
I enjoy card making and was sad when my old paper cutter ‘bit the dust’ recently. This replacement cutter is excellent. It’s verysimilar to my previous one but I appreciate some of the little changes. One example would be a little lip on the plastic portionthat is lifted each time paper is placed to be cut. This device works well and was a great price for something that is very valuablewhen needing to cut paper or cardstock.
