It a very good product. Love it
I bought this stand. I wasn’t hopeful that it would help me. I couldn’t be more wrong. This is one of the best purchases I have made. It make my embroidery projects so much easier. Thank you.

Great product!
I’m thinking of buying another one. This can be twisted and turned until you get the correct angles. Love it!A note to the manufacturer: I have used this for a large cross-stitch project, and it is awesome! And the price is fantastic. I think the clamp is 3 inches. Please think of offering an 8 or 12 inch clamp to help hold a larger piece of fabric. I do not use a hoop. So, I have clamped a 15 inch ruler and used clips to hold the fabric to it. And, it still works well! Thanks for a great product! You could also add a clamp 3 or 4 inches down, to the first upright to hold a pattern.

Good to start with
I was looking into a couple different embroidery hoop options. I bought this one because of the price. Overall, it’s not bad. It does what it is suppose to. My only issues are the clamp doesn’t hold the best when you are working with super-sized projects. As much as I try to tighten the clamps and screws, they still just slightly loose.

This is impossible to get into a position where the hoop can be used for sewing it was trash day so I threw away packaging( I know lesson learned) or it would be returned this weekend

No instructions, easy to assemble but not for all types of crossstitch/Embroidery holders
Although this didnt come with instructions (they expect you to look at the video – if it wasn’t a gift), it was pretty easy to assemble. After finangling for about an hour and basically stripping the thread of the tightener trying to get the right angle for my Edmund’ Handi clamp scroll rods, it’s not strong enough to hold in place. I think something such as a regular hoop or possible a q-snap that’s 11×11 with fabric that isn’t too large or heavy would be fine. For something larger, I would probably have spent a bit more for something that’s sturdier and able to hold crossstitch/Embroidery canvases that are larger than 11×11.

Awesome hoop holder if you have the right table
It is true that no instructions come with this item BUT there is a kind of a basic how-to video below in the “Videos” related to this product or in the image description of this product. Now I unfortunately had to return mine but it wasn’t the items fault, I just didn’t really pay attention to the type of table I had. Make sure that your table is flat and no bars underneath (like mine had) and you should be good. You can still make it work if you have a bar but it won’t be as sturdy because of the clamp but definitely worth a purchase if you have the appropriate table.

So HAPPY with this Hoop Stand!
I’d been wanting a hoop stand for quite some time, and had almost purchased the Edmunds stand. Just when I was about to purchase it, I found this! It works great with my lighted magnifier, and maneuvers fairly easily. The grip on the hoop is very tight and there’s no slipping, and angling my work is very easy. My pencil hangs from the frame because I glued a magnet to the pencil, making it easily accessible.I’m very happy with this, as I’m able to cross-stitch again without the severe pain from holding my hoop in hand.Thank you to whoever designed this!

Off balance
I like the style but I don’t like is it does sit on carpet it tips over. So I have to set something heavy on the base. All I have in the clamp is a flour sack towel in an embroidery hoop.

It’s okay
I broke my back a while ago so I wanted to be able to do embroidery in bed while almost laying down because that allows me to avoid back pain from leaning over. This did help a little but it does move around so you can’t do tambour embroidery with it since that requires two free hands. I ended up returning it and just got a more traditional stand even if it does hurt my back.

Great for phone recording, iffy on the clasp
The media could not be loaded.
I have used the arm multiple times to record videos of the different crafts I’m doing and it does great for that, but the clasp that you use for the cross stitching/ embroidery comes loose very often on the bottom two screws, and I’ve had to rescrew it multiple times with every use.

Works very well
It is simple to put together and very comfortable to use, making embroidery and other crafts much easier and more comfortable to do. It is sturdy and comfortable however some of the screws strip very easy and need to be adjusted often. All in all I very much enjoy this product but it needs better screws.

Very good Quality with Great price & Fast service!
The reason I assembleonly gave a 4 star rating is because it came with absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS to Put it together! It came in a plain box not even a photo of it anywhere to be found! I had to go back where I ordered it and pull up and picture of it and try to figure out where each peice went where! A chore considering I have very poor vision! There wasn’t any written instructions either! But the Hoop Holder itself is awesome and I love it! Frees up both hands to work freely! I Use mine of a Heavy Wooden TV Tray, with no problems, withit tipping. I also have this Tray set up with Velcrow strips so that I can stablize my other Hoop Holders, I use for different projects and works perfectly! Yes I recommend this Holder!

Looks sturdy, but photo holder?
Looks like this will hold my small hoops and frames. It is metal, and clamps nicely to my tv tray, with a wide C type clamp. You need the area below to be clear of under supports, which meant I could not attach to my side table. It comes with a phone holder, but the piece its supposed to attach to does not want to unscrew where the nub would be the attachment point. Instead the screw nub is attached to the hoop holder. I’m glad I’ve a separate phone tripod already. I look forward to using this soon, and may update if needed.

A little shaky, but usable for it’s purpose
There were no instructions that came with this stand, but it was pretty simple to put onto my desk. It holds my hoop well and is adjustable. However it’s not super sturdy and will wobble back in forth on certain axels. The piece that connects the stand to the desk is unsecure and will wobble side to side easily no matter now tight you turn the bolt. The joint near the clamp is also wobbly but can be tightened so it’s harder to move.Overall this stand does exactly what I need it to do for cheap.

Breaks very quickly
It was okay for a while, but the adjustable ball part of the arm broke within a month of buying it. Half my time embroidering with this arm is spent fidgeting with the ball, trying to get the clamp to actually hold my piece up. Would highly recommend going with another product.

Great for arthritic hands
I got this for my 89 year old mom, who has arthritic hands. She was almost ready to give up doing counted cross stitch because of hand pain, but this holder has made it possible for her to continue. I have not heard her rave about a gadget almost ever, but she glows with happiness about this one. It has really helped her avoid another loss. Highly recommended.

The clamp is terrible, I keep having to readjust because it unwinds. And now the piece that screws on and clamps broke off. So now I can’t use the thing and I have had it leas than a week 🙁

not sturdy enough to hold frame
I have a 10×11 thin frame and it doesn’t hold it well at at all. Looks like it could fall out any second and wobbles all over the place when stitching, no matter how tight the knobs are. Will be returning

Great Idea, Poor Materials
I’ve been using this for cross-stitch. It helps my posture and reduces pain to have my work lifted off my lap. Initially this product did the trick, but the screw in my photo stripped. Now I can’t tighten down the screw and the whole thing is useless for me. Great idea, but the poor materials wore out.

No instructions/not assembled
I’ve just received this and an hopeful that it will work. BUT, I’m beyond frustrated that there are no instructions on how to assemble all the pieces!!! Like WTF??? There are five separate pieces, and I gave ZERO clue what goes where. I may upgrade my rating & review if it’s super easy to figure out, but right now I’m irritated, frustrated, & baffled.

I’m upset i didn’t buy something like this sooner
I had all but abandoned the idea of cross stitching again because holding the hoop was exhausting and it made sitting in one spot terribly painful. But thanks to this hoop holder, I was able to stich a decent sized project in three days while taking breaks without fear of loosing my pace.

OK at first
The media could not be loaded.
This was okay at first but it quickly began to loosen at every point. So I would tighten it. Again and again and finally it began falling apart. A screw is missing now in the first photo after it fell out while I was working so it’s unusable. I will have to purchase another one now (I’ll be choosing a different one).

Too wobbly after using for only 3 weeks
I bought this to do 2-handed cross stitch and have a very light weight embroidery hoop attached. But after only 3 weeks, the top connector screw off of the extension arm is stripped and just spins and spins when I try to tighten it. So the frame flops into an unusable angle and I have to hold the hoop anyway. Waste of money.

Great phone mount, useless cross stitch holder
Does great as a phone mount, but cross stitch projects are too heavy for it, and it won’t stay where you adjust it. If you want a stand for your stitching projects, just shell out for a Lowery stand and get it over with.

Not That Great
The product arrived in generic packaging without any instructions. It looked used with a few scratches. The product itself is a great concept but poorly engineered. The table clamp is not large enough to attach to most things. It can be clamped only in an upright position because, despite all of the knobs, it’s still loose. Overall massively disappointing. I’m hoping I can come up with some use for it.UPDATE: I initially gave it 2 stars. I ended up buying a C-clamp so I could attach it to my project cart. So far it’s working well. I still think it looks like someone pieced it together from different objects they found online…. but for the price it’ll do.

Meh… save your money
I used it for one project (a few weeks) the swivel ball part no longer stays on the stand and just falls off. Halfway through this project the swivel screw would no longer tighten enough to keep the project stable.
