Hate it
The hoops are too big for my project, theres not enough thread in each bunch to do anything, the strawberry is just a pin cushion, not a needle sharpener, I dont think the pen ink is water soluble, the scissors arent pointed and the instructions are worthless. I did find a good color I wanted to use bit there wasnt enough. So now Im a hater.Update: I was a little wrong. Got single line Pooh + out of one embroidery thread. Used skein holder, ripper, small threader. So it came in handy.

It’s okay but not great.
I’m just getting back into embroidery and this kit was everything I needed to get started. The thread is a lower quality but fine. The wood is good. The needles and pins are awful and rusted. I broke a needle in minutes. I threw a bunch away already.

It’s a big set, it has pretty much what I need, the threads do not fade after washing and ironing, it’s a big plus that my work was safe after cleaning the art. Found 2 cons so far:- the thread gets tangled sometimes, but I manage to prevent it in time;- not much purple shades, i wish there was more purple colors.But over all I am satisfied with the product set.

Wife likes it
Got this for my wife because she mentioned that she wanted to try hand stitching embroidery rather than a machine. She says that it is a pretty good set and likes using it so far. The only thing she said about it was that she wishes that there was more of the most common colors and not so much of the obscure colors.

Great value floss set!
Great selection of colors for the price! Perfect for embroidery or small cross stitch projects. They are labeled with dmc color numbers, the colors are definitely close, but not exact. There are a lot of greens, not many browns/oranges. The hoops seem decent, as well as, the seam ripper, needle threaders. The scissors and ink pen (and I’m guessing the needles) are bad quality. But overall great value for the price!! Ps. The colors come packaged in color order which is nice!

One of the hoops arrived broken, otherwise seems like a nice kit.
Was not packaged properly for shipping–just thrown in a box. The embroidery hoops are fairly fragile so buy at your own risk. The rest of the kit looks pretty good. My primary interest in this kit was for the amount/variety of thread, and it really is a LOT of thread. Given that, it seems like a pretty good value for your money even with the broken hoop.

Really great package for begginerd! Needles are fragile I had a couple break by just pulling it. The paper is nice but it’s not for embroidery more for crocs stitch. Mine came with a cute little strawberry to stick my needles in. The floss is ok but all the colors are beautiful! Te pens work amazing and the hoops are perfect!

It’s mediocre at best.
The floss is just fine. It’s labeled and didn’t tangle anymore then more expensive floss. The needles are very cheap. I broke 2 in one week just doing crossstich. The fabric is okay, but on the cheaper side and the hoops are cheap too. The hoops have a lot of splinters and don’t line up well. This makes it difficult to tighten. Overall you get cheaper quality for a cheaper price.

Me parecen de buena calidad para el precio, no he intentado lavar el bordado, pero el acabado es bastante bueno, cuesta un poco separar las hebras, pero es una muy buena alternativa a DMC.En las fotografÃas he combinado DMC y estos, y no veo demasiada diferencia, seguramente más adelante puede que la durabilidad, pero por el momento me gustó.Me siento satisfecha con mi compra.

Great starter kit, can be a bit confusing
Great product to get if you’re first starting. Provides all the materials you need. I just wish that they provided a bit more instructions on how to use it and maybe some patterns for people who are first starting embroidery.

Missing Items..
I was really excited to try this but upon opening my package I received the hoops, the strings, and bag but no tools whatsoever. Pretty disappointing. Giving three stars because the hoops seem fine and the string is very pretty but I’m new to embroidery and now will have to purchase all my tools separately.

GEL PENS aren’t washableðŸ˜
Okay maybe I’m just stupid but I assumed the pens that were coming with this kit would be able wash out. Yeah no and I have several projects that are ruined and idk what to do. Why include gel pens in a embroidery/cross stitch kit. Actually stupid. On account of the thread. So so many colors and works great!

Low quality, even for beginners
Cloth seems too thick for the hoops it came with, my hoops also came with cracks. One of my needles actually broke while trying to use this kit. The loop that holds the thread just snapped right off. Went to use the scissors to cut the thread and they broke in two.
