Used on laminated paper (magazine) and ink stays wet. What this does well is it dissolves the ink well. It also does well to hide sensitive info. The ink is not simple permanent ink. It’s something more and whatever it’s made of, works well.

Great depending on how long ink lasts
I like that this was a compact device. I was thrilled that they included replacement ink. However, I find that I sometimes have to use it twice to totally obscure information. I am OK with that. Our old mechanical shredder was on its last leg. we thought replacement machines were just way too expensive. Plus, it’s a hassle to dispose of the shredded material because our recycling will not accept shredded paper.So this was a perfect cheap alternative for us. We just make sure critical information is inked out and then we can put it in the regular recycling.Less power used and all of the paper can be recycledThe only reason we did not give it five stars is because we don’t know yet how long the initial will lastIt’s a improvement to dealing with the shredder and the non-recyclable trash from it.

Not as great as advertised
This product is just ok. I have been using the Plus Guard product and the difference between both is minimal. The Miseyo covers a larger area which is a plus. This roller stamp has limitations which should be disclosed, mainly some print can still be read depending on the surface covered.

I was eager to get this little item and thought it was a great idea. For covering things like handwriting and regular printed material, it covers sensitive info very well. HOWEVER – for certain items (such as a printed check, a prescription bottle label, something printed with toner/heat or the like), you can still read the letters through the printed ink. Kind of pointless when you can still see what you’re trying to cover up, you know? So… consider WHAT it is that you’re buying this for. For handwritten checks or things someone wrote down, you’ll probably be fine. Trying to cover up certain types of print/inks might not work so well, and then you’d have to shred/hand-tear it up anyway. …Good in a pinch, I suppose.

Protects Personal Info
Obviously, big items like check statements I will shred, but often there is personal information only on part of a letter or form, so I can now easily cover it up with this roller and trash it. Sometimes I see only a QR code, and I don’t necessarily know what info it leads to, so I simply cover it up with this roller. It’s so easy to use. I wish I had bought this long ago.

Long lasting and very effective
I have had this product for about a year and a half now and have only had to refill the ink once a few months ago with fairly frequent use. This roller really effectively blocks out all personal information on packages, mail etc. The roller comes pre-loaded with ink in addition to three refill ink cartridges which are very easy to use when refilling. I see this roller lasting me for a couple more years without needing to purchase anymore ink refills which is fantastic for the price. I’d highly recommend it to anyone!

This came ready to use!! Tested it on a credit card application (junk mail) , instantly removed my name/address, the ‘QR” CODE and five word code to use if you wanted to call their 1-800 number to apply for credit under your name!!. I have 2 shredders, but some docs dont have enough info on it to warrant using my shredder. This worked PERFECTLY! IT ALSO CAME WITH 3 INK REFILLS!! Really blocks out information!
This little gadget works so well. It is wide enough to cover the information in one sweep. The coverage is dense enough and dark enough to completely block any information. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was putting the cap on and off has a tendency to put ink in the edge of the lid…which can smear onto fingers. I would buy this again if ever needed, but with the availability of ink capsules, it should last forever!

Not the Best.
I was excited to find these privacy rollers. They will extend the life of my shredder and there are less bags of paper for me to get rid of. This particular one I found not worth the price. It runs out of ink too fast, yes it does come with three extra ink refills, but they run out as fast as the original. You can buy additional refills, but they are expensive as well. Also, this roller is quite small, if you have large hands like me, you will drop it.Use your own judgment when looking to purchase a privacy roller.

Saves time and space compared to shredder
I was looking for a cross cut paper shredder when I came across this product. My old shredder suddenly stopped working after a few years, but when it came time to replace it I was appalled at having to recycle it and replace it with yet another bulky electronic gadget. This flexible ink roller is in infinitely easier than using a sharpie marker on Rx or Rx bottles that can’t be recycled. It is also faster to use to block out what turns out to be a few lines of personal information that really don’t need to be shredded – but give me the same confidence to recycle,
